A man who has no attachment to any particular name, title nor even nation. a bloodthirsty monster who craves only the excitement of being challenged - who finds enjoyment in life only when he is graced with the threat of death.

Although zenos is rather oblivious to any romantic intentions, he does have an extreme attachment to the warrior of light, and any of his travel companions since he's mellowed out. calling his intents for them as romantic is a stretch, but there's genuine care for them... in his own particular way.

he can eat just about anything - doesn't have to, however. he prefers either very clean foods or very bloody and rare meats. as a primal, he can handle digesting raw meat. doesn't mean he should, but he does it anyways.

he likes books. reading and spending his time lost within words upon a page is something he likes almost as much as he enjoys fighting and sparring.

he's extremely affection & touch starved, although he doesn't understand such things nor does he really seem to notice (or care) until it's immediately affecting him. much like a cat following you around for attention or pets, zenos does the same with those he's often around.

zenos is extremely easily motivated by physical activities. this can be sparring or full on fighting, being allowed to go out on a patrol or even something as mundane as having physical contact with someone else. he has a particular fondness for his hair being brushed or messed with, considering he grew up never knowing what such affection felt like.

he does not, and will not, care about morals. he doesn't naturally know the general rules that most others follow, nor does he care about them. he goes by what he wants to do, what he feels like doing, whenever he does something. unless he knows his actions will deprive him from being around the warrior of light, he'll do as he wishes, your laws and rules be damned.

he's extremely tiger-coded. he enjoys water - swimming activities and the like - and he enjoys tracking and hunting things (or people) down. this also applies to even those he's somewhat grown to care about.

his primal side has instincts that he generally cannot stop - not that he would care to even try in most cases. while his demeanor is not fully different from that of what he's normally like, one important rule around him is to not make sudden, quick movements. especially if you're moving away from him. much like how if you run from a large cat, they will chase and pounce, zenos has a tendency to do the same. the more he likes you, the more likely he'll leave scars.

he has a thing for scars. making them on those he cares for, as well as earning them from those he cares for. each scar is a proud mark for him, and he feels very proud of himself every time he sees a scar that he's made on someone he cares about.

fighting is his love language. gift-giving, in the same sense as a cat does. but the more he likes you, the more he wants to fight with you, against you, for you. he'll bring gifts - usually the head of some beast, or some type of weapon. but the more he asks for fights, the more he's grown to like you and wants to give you scars that he'll be proud to see.

he's extremely fair, when he views someone on semi-equal ground. while the only one he truly views as an equal is the warrior of light, if you're even a possible candidate that he can make grow into a worthy contender, he fights in a very sportsman-like, fair way. he views it beneath him to hamper his opponents when it's already difficult enough to find a challenge as it is. as such, he doesn't lie, he doesn't intentionally do unfair things nor does he find a way to cheat his way into a win. it has to be fair, or else it's not worth his time.

zenos is extremely patient. as long as he has a goal to focus on, he will wait patiently for what is needed. after all, he's learned that forcing a situation often gets the attention off of him much faster than if he were to get it naturally.

on the other hand, zenos is also extremely easily bored if he's not given a challenge of some sort. while he's willing to wait days in one spot without moving for the chance to fight someone, if he's not given any goal or challenge in mind, he will make one. do. not. let. him. get. bored.

while he learns fast, he's not instantly good at everything he does. he enjoys learning and studying things as he grows better and better at them. he's not a sore loser, either. when he's learning something new, he knows he'll be beaten by those who've mastered it. it makes victory all the sweeter once he does learn.

he gets homesick very easily. that being said, a location isn't considered home to him. those he's found himself attached to - the warrior of light, namely - are what he considers home. and while he can easily endure being apart from them for long periods of time - especially in the rare occasion he's allowed to go off on a hunt unsupervised - he always gets very excited to be back by their side. bonus points if it's both of them at the same time.

zenos doesn't really emote. there are small movements in his face where he'll give a small scowl or smile, but he generally doesn't emote because he generally doesn't really care about most things or people. obviously there are exceptions, but unless you're a very special person, he doesn't emote. except under extreme circumstances.

he almost always ignores everyone who tries to get his attention. scions, gridanians, ishgardians - it doesn't matter to him. unless there's a keyword that he's interested in, he typically won't listen to any attempt to get his attention. even attacking him won't garner more than a simple counter or dodge, not even typically so much as a glance your way.

he is extremely prideful - and as such, his brain will completely block out all forms of baby talk. you could say one of his favorite words, you could mention the warrior of light by name, you could offer him a battle to the death. if it's done in baby talk, he views it so far beneath him, that he'll block out any and all words. the only person this doesn't work on is, of course, the warrior of light, who he listens to every word of, no matter the tone.

he cannot handle heat very well. he has an extremely high body temperature because of him being a primal, and as such, isn't affected by the cold at all. however, he is affected by humid heat. in the rare cases he does get cold, being a draconic creature, it will generally just put him to sleep.
